Lucy Gonzalez

Lucy Gonzalez graduated from the University of  Westminster in 1986.

She read for the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn and qualified as a barrister in 1988. Subsequently, she took the solicitors’ finals and was called to the Roll of Solicitors in 1990. She did her training in a City firm in London following which she worked in the Property Litigation Department of a City firm in Blackfriars, handling a wide range of civil litigation matters ranging from lease renewals, breach of contract disputes to misrepresentation claims.

She then went on to work for many years for the in-house legal department of Elf Oil UK Limited (subsidiary of Elf Acquitaine) handling all civil litigation matters in the South East region of England for the Company. The work for the Company ranged from advising on and drafting distribution agreements to conducting litigation on behalf of the Company on matters including contractual disputes and property disputes concerning any of its 800 service stations. 

Subsequently, she set up her own private practice in 2005 specialising solely in property litigation. Lucy is a fluent Spanish speaker.

Joseph Quinn

Joseph Quinn studied Philosophy at Kings College London and worked for Westminster City Council before studying law at the Inns of Court School of Law in Chancery Lane London. He was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in 1987. He practiced at the Bar for over 12 years specialising in civil and commercial litigation appearing as an advocate in all Courts up to and including the Supreme Court.

Thereafter, he worked for a Mayfair law firm dealing with corporate and private client litigation. The work ranged from professional negligence litigation to property matters for clients involved in the world of media, sport and music.

He joined Quinn & Co in 2008. He specialises in all civil litigation matters with particular emphasis in property litigation ranging from boundary disputes to disputes concerning rights of way.

I had problems with an easement as my neighbour unbeknownst to me claimed land using Adverse Possession and tried to stop me using my easement by implying that I had abandoned it.
